The apartment building controls the heat. I got home late, so I guess I'll deal with it until the morning or so. :/

Blankets, put a movie on, make some popcorn, invite a ladyfriend over, mission accomplished.

Got a hat? Like a beanie? One of those typically makes a world of difference...

This reminds me of when I moved into a house with a couple of buddies some years ago. I typically run hot, so I don't require the heater to be on a lot. Also durign that time I was living in apartments...so when it was cold, the neighbors would heat their units and the little bit of heat seepage into my apartment would keep me warm enough. So, we move into this house in the middle of "winter" (I live in CA) and I go to bed. Multiple times in the middle of the night I woke up cold, but kept telling myself "This isn't right, you don't get cold..." This went on for several hours. When I got up the next morning, I checked the thermostat - no wonder why I was cold - 54F. I figure I kept waking up because my body was saying "Uh, dude? I think you fell asleep in a snow bank, or something...you might want to look in to this...."

If you are renting it, hell, even if you own it, it is not legal for them to not provide heat. Our radiators are singing - we are toasty warm. You should have heat. Demand it.
